Basic (International) Relations
10 February 2007
It's realpolitik, they say.
The state of relations among nations can be just as simple as an "Egghunt" episode involving two cavemen. The day starts with a search for food (resources), onerous efforts to get hold of it, the risks and failures.
And challenges; threat perception; insecurity. The fight.
But, every man is the captive of his own prejudice. Of which, may not necessarily be true.
Below is an excellent short work by Paul Yan (writer, director, animator) and Yiannis Kranidiotis (composer) made available by Google Video. There is lesson for pro-violence leaders, if not warmongers, to learn.
Is there any chance for the world to learn from the cavemen?
And after that, the transformation from so much dose of realism to a little neoliberalism could, perhaps, be given a chance.
Peace for the world.

Global Bloggers 2000
05 February 2007
It is, unfortunately, flooding in Jakarta currently. Below, you'll see a flood, not of water, but faces.
Can you spot yours?
Yes, I spotted Tino Buntic's headshot in mybloglog yesterday. Ah, he made it here, ha, that massive 2000 bloggers project. He added this blog already. Thanks Tino!
There are, how many?, about 55 million bloggers globally. And 2000 bloggers will be listed there. Simply because you drop in a message to Tino's blog.
Here is the project so far. Just spot me there....can you?
